Hi! Welcome! I'm glad you're here.
My name's Hannah and I'm passionate about empowering women to get their lives back from endometriosis, painful periods, bloating, depression and just feeling like crap! As mentioned, my focus is endometriosis care, but I'm also equipped to support women in their broader hormone health including issues like PCOS, irregular periods, PMS, and so on.
Since my period began nearly twenty years ago, it was simply terrible. The pain was excruciating, so much so that I ended up in the ER on heavy pain meds multiple times. I was told by my OB that this was "normal," and put on birth control. After switching OBs and trying a multitude of birth control options (each of which gave me a new strange symptom), I was finally diagnosed with PCOS. In an exploratory laparoscopy, my doctor then found severe endometriosis. This led to a litany of surgeries, more birth control, weight gain, prediabetes, and still feeling terrible. Finally, I was told by a leading reproductive endocrinologist I'd probably not be able to have children and was offered to be put in a "medical menopause." Otherwise, I was looking at a hysterectomy. There was never one mention of lifestyle or diet. I felt like I had no power or agency in my own story.

Does any of this sound familiar? Not feeling like you are taken seriously by your doctors, not being given actionable steps to deal with the ROOT cause of your illness? Just being told to get used to your new normal?
It wasn't until about 10 years into health problems that I came across an integrative practitioner who truly listened to my story, and instead of responding the same way everyone else had, looked at me and said, "You have lots of options." She gave me supplements, lifestyle advice, nutritional support in addition to the few things I'd found myself online or at the library, and for the first time, the needle started moving.

After finally completing my MA in Chinese, I decided to switch careers and pour myself full force into nutritional therapy. The more I read and studied what proper nutrition and lifestyle can do for the body, while simultaneously seeing in my own body how much better I was doing, I became hooked.
In the last ten years, I not only did not need a hysterectomy, but was able to naturally conceive and deliver two healthy kids to term. I no longer have painful periods or any bloating. Of course, I'm not perfect, but I've learned how to read and interpret my own body. I feel better and know I have agency in my own health.
And that's why I do what I do. I am passionate about letting you know you are not stuck! You are not your diagnosis. You have options! And with a little work, you can live a hormonally balanced, fantastically abundant life.
